Use a measured-room consultation. TrackMan currently recommends generous room dimensions and distinguishes the ceiling-mounted indoor iO from the portable TrackMan 4. Software, computer, projector, enclosure and installation can be material parts of the ownership cost.

Measure clear height, width and depth, then complete a safe swing-clearance test.
Confirm launch-monitor placement and software/computer requirements.
Specify the mat, screen/net and enclosure as one safety system.
Choose the projector only after fixing screen size, aspect ratio and mounting position.
Confirm total cost, subscriptions, delivery and installation before ordering.

How to buy a professional launch monitor
TrackMan, Foresight (GCQuad, GC3) and FlightScope’s X3 are mostly sold through the makers’ own UK sales teams and authorised dealers, often with installation, software licences and finance quoted together. None of them has a UK retail route we can link to with a live price. To buy:
- Contact the maker’s UK sales team or an authorised dealer and ask for a quote for your exact model, software tier and any installation.
- Ask what licence or subscription is included, how long, and what renewal costs.
- Check warranty, calibration support and loan units if the monitor needs repair.

Indicative UK prices (checked 1 October 2026)
- TrackMan iO Home: about £12,600 at a UK dealer (GolfBays), before any subscription.
- TrackMan 4 (indoor and outdoor, with TrackMan Training): about £22,400 at the same dealer.
- Foresight GCQuad: about £16,800 at a UK dealer (Golf Swing Systems).
- FlightScope X3: listed at £13,899 on FlightScope’s UK store (shown on sale at £9,600 but sold out when we checked).
These are dealer list prices, not live prices, and they change. Software tiers, installation and VAT treatment for businesses can change the total a lot, so always get a written quote.

Commercial simulator planning in the UK
Planning a simulator for a golf club, coach, hotel, workplace or hospitality venue is different from building a home bay. Usage hours, left/right-handed access, safety containment, software licensing, support and installation all matter alongside launch-monitor accuracy.
