Golf Gear Lab simulator guide
Golf simulator enclosure buying guide
A good enclosure makes a simulator safer, tidier and easier to use. The right design depends on available width, ceiling height, shot dispersion and how much of the room needs protection.
Measure first
Confirm usable width, depth and ceiling height before ordering. Also account for projector position, launch-monitor placement and the golfer's full swing arc.
Side and ceiling protection
Wider and taller enclosures reduce the risk of mishits escaping the hitting area. In tighter rooms, additional side curtains or ceiling baffles may be worthwhile.
Screen tension and access
The enclosure should hold the impact screen securely without over-tensioning it. Think about cable access, projector maintenance and whether the structure needs to be moved or dismantled.
