Foresight GC2 UK: price, specification and who it suits
The all-new GC2 brings Foresight's camera-based ball tracking to a much lower price. The official UK price is £1,695, with UK shipping expected from late October. It is a pre-order, so we have not scored it yet.

What independent testing reveals
Sean Ogle’s first week with the new GC2 highlighted quick connection, portable design and engaging practice in the app. He reported close agreement with his Launch Pro across clubs, making it an encouraging ball-data option. It is ball-only, and the small hitting area and software costs deserve consideration.

Read the detailed findings and test limitations
This was an early assessment without a published shot-by-shot accuracy dataset. The screen was readable in overcast conditions, but direct-sun visibility and long-term reliability were not established.
This is one reviewer’s experience with the tested unit and conditions; it is not a guarantee for every course or golfer.
The 30-second answer
The GC2 measures ball data only. It reports 14 ball-flight numbers from two cameras, including measured spin, but it does not measure any club data (club speed, path, face angle or attack angle), and Foresight offers no upgrade to add it later. Playing simulator courses or connecting to GSPro needs a paid Foresight+ plan.
Choose the GC2 if
- You want Foresight-grade measured ball data indoors and outdoors
- You practise with numbers on the built-in screen and don't need club data
- You want one unit for the garage and the range
Look elsewhere if
- You want club data: the Square Golf Omni (about £1,600) measures path, face, attack angle and dynamic loft
- You want simulator golf without a yearly plan: Omni and Square Golf have no mandatory subscription
- You only play indoors on a tight budget
Before you pre-order
- Price the Foresight+ plan you need, not just the hardware
- Check the delivery date with the retailer
- Read early independent reviews as units ship

| Pro | Course play plus third-party connections such as GSPro | $595 |

Will it fit your room?
Like other side-on camera units, the GC2 needs no space behind the golfer, so room depth is set by your swing, the hitting mat and the distance to the net or screen. Most golfers need about 2.7 m (9 ft) of ceiling to swing a driver freely. Use the Room Checker before you buy an enclosure.
