What independent testing reveals
Golf Monthly found the LM1 small, easy to carry and quick to get started, with readable numbers appearing promptly. Its practical strength is simple feedback without a complicated setup. The reviewer’s comparisons were encouraging for everyday practice, while distance differences grew on longer shots.

The test compared simultaneous readings with GCQuad and checked three 9-iron landing distances with a laser. The LM1 was within roughly three to four yards in that small landing test; this should not be presented as its accuracy on every club and shot.

Why it stands out
LM1 is a straightforward practice tool. Put it behind the ball and it shows your speeds and distance on its own colour screen, with sessions syncing to the Shot Scope app.
It does not measure spin or launch, and reviewers found indoor readings less reliable on curved shots. It is best for the range and speed training.
