What independent testing reveals
Plugged In Golf’s Matt Saternus found the SC4 Pro easy to read and encouraging in an indoor comparison with GCQuad. He did not miss a shot in that session, which helped the rhythm of practice. Spin was less consistent than the other readings, so its strongest case is everyday practice rather than precision fitting.

Read the detailed findings and test limitations
The reviewer valued swing-speed practice without hitting a ball and the streamlined app. Correct height, alignment and level positioning matter. A session with no missed shots does not mean the unit can never miss one.
The report describes the model and software available during its original test. Check the version, current software access and supplied equipment before buying; historical prices are not current purchase terms.
The 30-second verdict
Lots of data and simulator golf for the money. Spin is calculated rather than measured, so it is less precise than camera units, but it is a strong range and home option.
Buy it if
- You want spin, launch and dispersion numbers under £700
- You want E6 Connect included
- You like a voice readout at the range
Look elsewhere if
- Your room is under about 4.5 m deep
- You want measured spin (see Square Golf)
- You want club path and face data

Why it stands out
The SC4 Pro is the SC4 with extra software that adds spin axis, side spin and dispersion. It reads out distances by voice and runs for about 10 hours.
Its spin figures are calculated rather than read from the ball, so camera units are more precise indoors. As a radar behind the ball, it needs a fairly deep room for simulator use.
