Which launch monitor fits you?
Four questions. Three sensible products to research next — based on where you play, what you want to spend and how you plan to use it.
Find the right type first.
This tool uses Golf Gear Lab's existing research, scores and product coverage. It does not claim hands-on testing where none has taken place. Results are a shortlist for further research, not a substitute for checking current manufacturer requirements.
Indoor space and tracking technology can rule products in or out before price does. Subscription preference then changes long-term value.
How the Launch Monitor Finder narrows the choice
A launch monitor should first match where you will actually use it. Radar models normally need enough clear depth behind the ball and enough ball flight in front, while camera-based models can suit tighter indoor bays because they read the impact area from beside the ball. If the room is not yet confirmed, check your simulator room dimensions before treating any model as a final choice.
Budget also means more than the purchase price. Simulator software, memberships, course access and third-party apps can change the cost over several years. Our launch-monitor subscription cost guide helps compare those ongoing commitments. Portability, data depth and the need for a built-in display then determine which compromises are sensible.
The finder returns a research shortlist rather than a promise of compatibility. Read the individual assessment, compare radar and camera tracking, and confirm the manufacturer’s current space, device and software requirements before buying.
