What independent testing reveals
Golf Monthly’s Conor Keenan found the A1-Slope compact, sturdy and fast to provide yardages, with reassuring target vibration. Its small size is useful if you prefer keeping a laser on your person. Numbers were less clear against dense backgrounds in low light, so try the display in conditions like those you normally play.

Why it stands out
The A1-Slope is built around its size: at 144 g it slips into a pocket and weighs little more than a golf ball sleeve. It charges by USB-C and Bushnell quotes more than 50 rounds per charge.
Slope is toggled with the Mode button rather than an external switch, which is fine for competitions but less obvious to playing partners. The smaller 18 mm lens means the view is less bright than on the bigger Bushnells.
