What independent testing reveals

Golf Monthly’s Dan Parker valued the Vertx Remote’s ability to keep a steady pace across slopes with less adjustment, making the walk feel more relaxed. He also liked the compact fold and built-in carrying handle. It remains a substantial trolley to lift, so check that part of the routine as well as its on-course control.

Why it stands out

The Vertx Remote is for golfers who want the trolley to go where they send it. With a 100-metre remote range and two motors, it can be steered ahead to the next tee or around a green while you walk your own line.

It is heavy at 14.6 kg before the battery, and there is no screen on the trolley itself; battery level shows in the app. It is not a follow trolley, so you steer it by remote throughout.
