What independent testing reveals
Golf Monthly’s Genelle Aldred found the FX3 an easy way to save energy while walking, with straightforward operation and a lightweight battery. It suits golfers who want dependable powered assistance with little distraction. Her strong endurance result came from the larger battery she tested, so choose the battery option carefully.

Read the detailed findings and test limitations
The tested 36-hole battery lasted around two and a half rounds in her use. This is not a guarantee for the smaller battery or for different terrain. The review covers an earlier FX3 version; match folding and control details to today’s model.
The report describes the model and software available during its original test. Check the version, current software access and supplied equipment before buying; historical prices are not current purchase terms.
The 30-second verdict
A simple, well-priced trolley with a colour screen and the option of electronic braking. The EBS version is the one to choose for hilly courses.

Why it stands out
The FX3 keeps the FX range’s simple dial and adds a small colour screen showing speed and battery level. The EBS version controls the trolley’s speed on steep downhill slopes.
Like the FX1 it folds long rather than compact. If boot space is tight, the CT6 is worth the extra.
